Background: Krista is a descendant of the Romanov line of ancient
imperial Russia. Her family were the last ruling Czars of Russia during
Earth's early 20th century. Her mother, N'Tasha Romanov, being blind
since birth, was the Federation Ambassador to the Medusan homeworld.
There she met and fell in love with a Meduasan named Zythos. Later they
were married and produced the only known Human Medusan offspring,
Krista. Although Medusans are know as the ugliest creatures in the
Galaxy, the have some of the most peaceful and creative minds. The are
also among the best Navigators in the Galaxy. Most other races who look
upon them however, go insane. Krista fortunatley, gained the best from
both of her parents. She appears quiet normal and human, but posses the
Medusan mind abilites and navigational expertise. She is therefore
paritally telepathic.
training
Krista, being part Medusan, is the only known human to be able to
look upon the Medusans without going insane. Being the case, she spent
a great deal of time studying on the Medusan Homeworld before returning
to earth at age 16 to attend Starfleet Academy. Majoring in
Piloting/Navigation and Minoring in Engineering and ship design, Krista
graduated within the top 5% of her class. She is currently awaiting a
new duty assainment.
Hobbies/Interests: Krista is very athletic and enjoys physical activity
which includes: Hicking, climbing, and Horsebackriding. She is also
fascinated by her family heritage and she has spent a great deal of time
researching it. Piloting remains her first love, and she also enjoys
flying ancient earth planes from the mid to late 20th century.
